Gunn is a social media influencer and known for his right-wing YouTube series and documentaries. He has produced content for the right-wing Facebook pages Canada Proud and BC Proud. From 2011 to 2017, Gunn was the director of special projects for the Canadian Taxpayers Federation, a conservative advocacy group.
In 2005, Gunn founded DCMC, a Victoria, B.C.-based video production company which he owned until 2013. From 2008 to 2011, he was a reservist in the Canadian military.
