Before being elected to parliament, Sari was a city councillor in Montreal from 2017 to 2025. He was CEO of Architecture BI, a technology company. From 2006 to 2017, he was a business architect at Datanova Software in Westmount, Quebec. From 2012 to 2017, he was a business architecture advisor to the Montreal police service. From 1997 to 2002, he was an analyst in Marocco’s ministry of finance.
From 2007 to 2025, Sari taught business at the Université du Québec à Montréal.
