Anita Vandenbeld

Before becoming an MP, Vandenbeld was from 2012 to 2015 an independent consultant whose clients included the National Democratic Institute and the United Nations Development Programme. She has previously been employed by both organizations in upper management roles.
Vandenbeld worked for the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe in Kosovo from 2007 to 2008 and in Bosnia in 2000. In 2004 and 2005, she was a program officer for the Parliamentary Centre in Bosnia.
From 2005 to 2007, Vandenbeld was the chief of staff for Liberal senator Grant Mitchell. From 2003 to 2004, she was director of parliamentary affairs to Liberal cabinet minister Jacques Saada. From 2001 to 2003, she was a policy analyst at the National Liberal Caucus Research Bureau.
