Bardish Chagger

Details:

Before being elected to parliament, Chagger was an events coordinator for the Kitchener-Waterloo Multicultural Centre. She has also worked as an executive assistant to former Liberal MP Andrew Telegdi.
Chagger was implicated in the 2020 WE Charity scandal. WE Charity was awarded a contract to administer the $912 million Canada Student Service Grant program (CSSG). It was later revealed that the charity had personal ties to the Trudeau family, placing them in a conflict of interest. Chagger had played a role in recommending WE Charity be awarded the contract.
