Leslie has worked as an assistant to several Conservative MPs, including Robert Sopuck (2016–2019), Roxanne James (2013–2015), and Laurie Hawn (2010–2013).
Leslie co-owns a commercial grain farm in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba. His wife, Cailey Bryson, owns a rental property in Ottawa.
