Before his election, Bailey was an assistant to Alberta MLA Adriana LaGrange.
During his campaign, Bailey touted himself to the press as a “construction business owner” and a “fifth-generation funeral director.” From 2000 until his election in 2025, he was business development manager for the plastic surgery practice of his wife, Kirsten Wesberg.
