Details:

Prior to being elected, Desrocher was a director at Global Affairs Canada beginning in 2020. She held various positions at Global Affairs throughout her career beginning in 2001.
From 2015 to 2020, Desrochers was the director of the Consulate General of Canada in New York. From 2004 to 2006, she was a political and public affairs officer at the Canadian Embassy to Haiti.
