Before entering federal politics, Lewis was a municipal councillor in Kingsville, Ontario.
Lewis is president and director of Lewis Landing Outfitters Inc. and 2554185 Ontario Corporation and holds a significant interest in both companies. He is the beneficiary of a family trust fund. He and his wife, Allison, jointly own farmland in Kingsville.
