Details:

Before becoming an MP, Ross was a member of the B.C. legislature from 2017 to 2025. He previously was a councillor of Haisla Nation 2003 to 2017, becoming chief councillor in 2011.
Previously, Ross was a skipper for a water-taxi service in Kitimat, B.C. He has also worked in construction and counted salmon for the Department of Fisheries.
