Before entering politics, St-Pierre was the CEO of the Trottier Family Foundation, a private charity, from 2016 to 2025. In 2019, he founded the Greater Montreal Climate Fund, a nonprofit organization that promotes decarbonization. From 2012 to 2016, he practised environmental, indigenous, and energy law at the firm Franklin Gerter.
