Since 1999, Davies has been president and CEO of the Niagara Business & Innovation Fund, a capital investment firm. He has been the principal of Davies Group Niagara, a commercial landlord and property developer, since 1995.
Davies is executive in residence at the Niagara Falls Innovation Hub, a nonprofit which provides resources to business owners. In 2003, he founded Blue Ocean Angels Canada, a company that connects the clients of Niagara Falls Innovation Hub to investors.
Davies is CEO of Breakwall Brewing Company, a restaurant and Brewery in Port Colborne.
From 2022 until his election to parliament, Davies was a municipal councillor for the Region of Niagara. From 1994 to 2000, he was a school trustee for the District School Board of Niagara.
