Before becoming an MP, Konanz was a city councillor in Penticton, B.C., from 2022 to 2025 and from 2011 to 2018. From 2020 to 2024, she was also a business consultant at Community Futures Okanagan-Similkameen, an economic development organization.
Konanz owned and operated Konanz Chiropractic from 1996 to 2024. She has also owned and managed two cafés in the Okanagan Valley.
From 1990 to 2014, Konanz was a tennis coach, having played professionally in the 1980s. She has also worked as a manager in sports retail companies including Nike and SportChek.
