Kent MacDonald

Before entering politics, MacDonald was a dairy farmer for 38 years. He is president and co-owner of Pondsedge Farms, a 1,700-acre, 1,000-head dairy, beef, and grain farm in eastern P.E.I.
MacDonald is a former chairman of the Dairy Farmers of P.E.I. and a former director and vice-chairman of the P.E.I. Federation of Agriculture.
MacDonald’s mother, Rose Marie MacDonald, was a Liberal MLA in the P.E.I. legislature.
