Kristina Tesser Derksen

Before being elected to parliament, Tesser Derksen was a town councillor in Milton, Ontario, from 2018 to 2025. From 2023 to 2025, she was also a partner at the law firm Greenwood Tesser Derksen. From 2014 to 2023, she practised law at the law firm Johnson McMaster.
From 2001 to 2011, Tesser Derksen was a funeral director at McKersie Kocher Funeral Home in Milton.
Tesser Derksen holds a controlling interest in the holding company 2687488 Ontario Inc., and a significant interest in the real estate agency RealCo. She and her husband, Chris Derksen, own investment properties in Cambridge and Woodstock, Ontario. Chris Derksen co-owns and is president of Crave Systems, a computer sales and repair company in Milton.
