Before being elected to the federal parliament, Goodridge was a member of the Alberta legislature from 2018 to 2021. From 2016 to 2018, she was a legislative outreach assistant for the Wildrose and United Conservative Parties.
Goodridge has worked for a number of politicians, including Minister of the Environment Leona Aglukkaq, Calgary Centre MP Joan Crockatt, Senator Josée Verner, and Wildrose Party leader Brian Jean.
Goodridge owns a rental property in Fort McMurray, Alberta
