Lori Idlout

Before entering politics, Idlout had her own law firm in Iqaluit, Qusagaq Law Office. From 2004 to 2011, she was executive director of Isaksimagit Inuusirmi Katujjiqatigiit Embrace Life Council, a suicide prevention nonprofit.
Idlout owns two rental properties in Iqaluit. She solely owns Carvings Nunavut, a retail art gallery, and Nunavut Holdings, a construction and renovations company, both located in Iqaluit. She also holds a significant interest in the Ottawa-based management consulting firm NVision Insight Group.
