Luc Berthold

In 1999, Luc Berthold began working for the Liberal Party of Quebec. He was a political attaché and press secretary to Quebec Liberal MNA Nathalie Normandeau, communications advisor to federal Leader of the Opposition Jean Charest, and chief of staff to Transport Minister Julie Boulet.
Berthold was elected mayor of Thetford Mines, Quebec from 2006 and held the position until 2013.
Before entering politics, Berthold was a radio host and journalist at CKLD in Thetford Mines and editor-in-chief of the weekly newspaper Courrier Frontenac.
