Mario Beaulieu

Details:

Before his election, Beaulieu was vice president and then president of the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Society, a Quebecois institution promoting sovereignty and Francophone interests. He was involved in the founding of the Mouvement Montréal français and SPQ Libre and has been involved in a variety of other sovereigntist organizations.
Beaulieu has held various official roles within the Bloc Québécois since 1994.
