Before entering politics, Lantsman was vice president of public affairs at the public relations firm Enterprise Canada from 2020 to 2021. From 2018 to 2020, she held the same title at Hill & Knowlton, a public relations firm whose checkered past includes advocacy for the tobacco and fossil-fuel industries, as well as allegations it spread false information to drum up support for the Gulf War.
Since 2018, Lantsman has also been a radio host at CFRB in Toronto. From 2016 to 2018, she was a senior director for CIBC Capital Markets.
During the Harper years, Lantsman worked as a director of communications for Conservative ministers in the federal cabinet including Jim Flaherty, Joe Oliver, and Lawrence Cannon.
Lantsman holds significant investment assets in the form of shares. She jointly owns a rental property in Thornhill, Ontario. She is the beneficiary of a family trust.
