Michael Ma

Before entering politics, Ma held several executive roles in the public and private sectors. From 2021 to 2022, he was Chief Information Officer at Ontario’s Workplace Safety and Insurance Board. From 2011 to 2013, he was a vice president at RBC Wealth Management. From 2006 to 2010, he was a vice president at American International Assurance.

Ma was CEO & Principal Consultant at Masons Advisory Services, a management consulting firm. He has also held vice president and CIO positions at Sun Life Financial, TD Bank, and the Hong Kong Hospital Authority. The North Star was not able to confirm the dates of many positions.

Ma was elected as a Conservative and crossed the floor to join the Liberals in December 2025.
