Pauline Rochefort

Prior to being elected to parliament, Rochefort sat on the municipal council of East Ferris, Ontario from 2014 to 2025, becoming mayor in 2018. From 2009 to 2012, she was employed by Nipissiing University, first as a professor and researcher and then as executive director of external relations in 2010.
From 2003 to 2008, Rochefort was the president and CEO of the Canadian Wood Council, a lobbying organization. From 1981 to 2002, she held manager, director and executive roles at the Business Development Bank of Canada.
