Thomas’s campaign materials describe her as a “youth and young adult consultant” and “sociologist.” She has previously been commissioned by the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada and the evangelical organization Power to Change Ministries (formerly the Campus Crusade for Christ) to research why young people leave the church.
Thomas’s husband, Victor Thomas, is CEO and president of the business consulting firm Global Bridgeway, in which he holds a controlling interest.
