Sophie Chatel

Details:

Chatel was a tax advisor in the private sector from 1995 to 2002. She held senior positions at Revenue Canada from 2002 to 2008. From 2008 to 2017, she was associate chief, of tax treaties and international tax at the federal Department of Finance. Before her election to parliament, Chatel was head of the tax treaty unit in the Centre for Tax Policy and Administration Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
