Before entering politics, Fuhr was a pilot of private jets from 2012 to 2015. From 2009 to 2012, he was president and CEO of the aerospace company SKYTRAC Systems. Fuhr was a pilot in the Canadian Air Force from 1989 to 2009, holding the rank of Major.
