Before entering politics, Guilbeault was a strategic advisor at Cycle Capital, a venture capital investment platform, from 2010 to 2019. He was a senior director at the environmental nonprofit Équiterre from 2007 to 2018 and a Greenpeace campaign manager from 1997 to 2007.
